DRI / Defense Firm Endorsement Features
When a firm qualifies for our defense firm program sponsored by the DRI (www.dri.org) because they have 51% or more of their Area of Practice in defense work, they also get a DRI / Defense Firm Endorsement attached to their policy.
The enhancements of the DRI / Defense Firm Endorsement includes the following:
o Increased Limit for Disciplinary Proceedings, Loss of Earnings & Crisis Event
• Disciplinary Proceedings
o increased from $30,000/$100,000 to $50,000/$100,000
• Loss of Earnings
o increased from $500/$15,000/$50,000 to $500/$25,000/$50,000
• Crisis Event
o increased from $20,000/$40,000 to $25,000/$50,000
o Subpoena Assistance Coverage uncapped
o $50,000 Additional Defense Limit*
o Enhanced “Soft” Hammer Clause (from 50/50 to 75/25)
o Five Less Exclusions
o Allowable equity interest in a client increased (from 20% to 30%)
o 10% Reduction in Deductible
o 10% Reduction in Optional ERP Percentages
o 10-15% DRI Credit Applied
